The long-awaited follow-up to Stronghold: Crusader, the first "castle sim," is called Stronghold Crusader 2. After 12 years, Stronghold returned to the Middle Eastern deserts in 1189, complete with a new 3D engine and Havok Physics-powered realistic castle demolition. 

The authentic castle simulation and addicting, fast-paced gameplay of Crusader will return in Crusader 2. This new Stronghold combines RTS and city-building games and will define old-school real-time strategy. 

You must employ a lethal array of troops and destructive siege weapons while taking on the role of a cruel Crusader Knight or an Arab freedom fighter to determine the fate of the holy territories. Two historical single-player campaigns with dynamic events like tornadoes and locust swarms let you command your troops into combat as either Richard the Lionheart or the Sultan of Syria.

Manage your desert economy and seize control of a crucial oasis to become the most excellent Lord.Players must command more than 25 different Army kinds and learn each one's special powers if they want to rule the battlefield. Use the Sergeant at Arms to boost morale, the Sassanid Knight to rush in, the Archers to fire a barrage of arrows, or the deadly

Assassin to scale castle walls. Once you've perfected your skills, test them out in the skirmish mode or online combat with up to 8 other players (with a maximum of 4 humans). In the ultimate skirmish or multiplayer Game, create teams, select various AI opponents, and construct your Terrain!

Key Feature :

The Game is the first in the Crusader series to use a 3D graphics engine, but it does not retain all of the original 2D Game's features. 

The Game adds new units, AI opponents, dynamic on-map events like the Locust Swarm, new visuals, a new battle interface, and engine enhancements like effects, animations, and real-time physics.Cooperative multiplayer is a brand-new element of the franchise. Two players share control of a single castle to use its resources and units to fight against similar foes.

At launch, Crusader II will offer a historical single-player Crusader and Arabic campaign.Like the first Stronghold Crusader Game, the Game will primarily focus on skirmish action.Similar to the first Stronghold Crusader, this will feature skirmish trails, where players must battle through a series of linked skirmish maps with various setups in a specific order.

It is anticipated that the Game would focus more on warfare with the minimal but significant government.Robert Euvino, who worked on earlier games in the series, created brand-new music for the Game. Users can develop and share custom maps for the Game using the full map editor, much like in prior instalments.To create the perfect multiplayer Game, mix and combine real people and artificial intelligence, maps, and Game modes.
