Fenton Paddock is engaged in his most brutal battle to date under the shadow of the Cold War. The Lost Horizonsequel, Lost Horizon 2, takes place 20 years after the original Game's events. It continues the tale of Fenton Paddock but switches from Tibetan mythology to Scandinavian mythology. This time, as opposed to 1956, it involved facing up against the Soviets.

In general, the look and gameplay of this classic adventure Game remain the same. Four playable characters are available for the player to choose from throughout the Game's six chapters. Most of the gameplay is played on largely static displays, with the player controlling a figure who may move between them and engage with strewn objects from a third-person perspective.
