The Tyrant arrived in Tyberia with promises of a paradise free from conflict, misery, and death. Tyberians just needed to perish at the hands of his Dead Army to enter heaven. Thousands of people died in the Tyrant's wake, only to be taken into his fold as undead thralls bound by magic, so the conflict ended before it started. The few remaining warriors are dispersed around the ruins of their homeland, frantically searching for a means to defeat the oppressive Tyrant. Drive the terrible dictator back into the sea's depths where he came from by organising a massive uprising, defeating the Dead Army, and doing so.

In the tactical turn-based Game Tyrant's Blessing, planning, flexibility, and strategy are more crucial than maxing out your unit strength or hunting out the sharpest weapon in the collection. To combat the undead hordes and perhaps—perhaps—restore life to Tyberia, choose battles every day, face difficult decisions, and skillfully employ the strengths of these motley insurgents.

• Ensure you live long enough to retake the Island before bringing the conflict to the Tyrant's doorstep.
• Choose between engaging in combat, saving the living from the Undying, or gathering strength. During the Rebellion, every decision is significant.
• Face up against random encounters that push you to make difficult choices as you battle your way over the surface of Tyberia. Do you step in and engage highwaymen, endangering your troops? Do you risk your time and money to try to save a child? The solution lies only in your morality and principles.
• Without eradicating an entire Army of the Undying, the Tyrant cannot be defeated. Yet winning isn't just about hitting your opponent as hard as possible.
• Consider the battle and plan accordingly—Scatter fighters over the battlefield to obtain an upper hand in warfare.
• Keep your surroundings in mind at all times. Create a dust cloud to obscure your adversaries' vision, or hop over rocks and duck behind bushes to escape an attack.
• Keep an eye on your adversary because every strike is anticipated; however, even walking away casts a shadow. If there is no way to avoid it, this sliver of a character is still vulnerable to attack.
• The environment can sequence powerful elemental assaults, push enemies into obstacles, protect weaker heroes with stronger ones who can take damage, and move adversaries out of the path. Brute force is effective, but use wisdom rather than power.
• Your heroes each have unique personalities, attributes, and skills. Who are you going to put in danger?
• Recruit twenty legendary characters, each with unique skills that can completely change the outcome of any conflict.
• However, not all heroes will appear throughout a Game, and not everyone will succeed in completing this task.
• Choose the best crew for the job. An archer will struggle at close quarters, whereas an assassin may thrive there. Certain heroes might still bring their pets, who can give them the right amount of advantage to win a battle.
• We can't afford to let the zombie despot kill even one of our heroes!
