Ghost Master is a Puzzle strategy game developed by British studio Sick Puppies for Windows. The game was later published on Mac OS X by Feral Interactive.

As the player unleashes terrible spirits on the town of Gravenville and terrifies its residents, you have control over grim spectres, shrieking banshees, and cunning gremlins. As you solve puzzles and unravel secrets in the universe of the Ghost Master, spooks will do your bidding as you blend the best elements of strategy, adventure, and resource management games.

Gameplay

Real-time strategy games have similar gameplay to Ghost Master. The player's first decision is which ghosts to use in the level. However, the player cannot field every spirit in every location. Instead, each ghost can be connected to one or two items (also known as "fetters"). For instance, a ghost that perished during a heist could only be tied to a "Murder Fetter," while a water spirit could only be linked to a bathtub, sink, or plain pool of water.

While hauntings make up most of a Ghost Master's responsibilities, they can also be "called in" to promote paranormal belief, exact revenge on murderers, and conscript renegade ghosts. Ghost Masters are given a team of subordinate spirits to carry out their orders because they cannot directly intervene in the world of mortals. The Ghost Master is in charge of instructing the ghosts under their control while they are not haunting.
