A 2011 action role-playing video game Dragon Age II was created by BioWare and released by Electronic Arts (EA). It is the follow-up to Dragon Age: Origins and the second major game in the Dragon Age series (2009). Players take on the role of Hawke, a human wizard, rogue, or warrior who enters the city of Kirkwall as a humble refugee and eventually becomes its renowned hero over a stormy decade of political and social struggle. The game is set in Theda's universe. Players explore and fight in the game from a third-person vantage point. Numerous companions that the player meets have a significant impact on the story and gameplay of the game.
Gameplay:
The third-person action role-playing game Dragon Age II allows players to take control of Hawke, a human who fled during the Fifth Blight and later rose to become the Champion of Kirkwall.
- The gender and look of Hawke are customizable, and at the start of the game, players must choose their class.
- There are three different class types: a rogue (who uses a dagger or bow and arrow to perform spells), a mage, or a warrior (who wields a melee weapon in both hands or with a shield).
- By importing their saved game or selecting a background from the game's start menu, players can apply the decisions they made in Origins to the current game.
- Several companions accompany players throughout exploration and fighting and can be added to Hawke's group. Only three friends can travel with Hawke; the rest remain in Kirkwall at their various home bases.
- Although players can freely switch between and control these companions, they are typically guided by artificial intelligence, which can be altered by players using the "Tactic" option.
- Players can, for example, configure a companion's aggressive stance and set the companion's actions, such as drinking health potions when hurt.
- Players can stop the game in the middle of combat and give orders to Hawke and the other party members separately. In the PC version, users can freely move the camera.
Storyline:
Hawke, the "Champion of Kirkwall," is the target of Cassandra's search alongside the Seekers, a Templar offshoot. She arrests Varric and questions him, asking to know how Hawke sparked the conflict between the Templars and magicians. Varric complies and explains how the conflict began. A darkspawn horde is holding the Hawke family as they flee their home village of Lothering in Ferelden shortly after the Battle of Ostagar. Unfortunately, one of Hawke's siblings—Bethany or Carver—dies. However, with Hawke completing a duty for Flemeth, a witch who can transform into a dragon, the group can flee to Kirkwall, a city on the other side of the ocean.
Enter into the fun-filled and move as the story unfolds in tremendous suspense. Play Now!
