There is no doubt about it: Blockstorm is not Battlefield! Sure, it features some incredibly fluid shooting mechanics, a range of weaponry, and the ability to customise your gear—at least the essentials. The similarities stop there, though. You're playing the wrong Game if you like to camp at the edge of the map, like balanced team-based gameplay, or are searching for tactical fighting. Blockstorm is immensely humorous and messy and leans toward close-quarters warfare. The damn sniper's hidden between a wall and some boxes. No problem, dig through the wall with your shovel. You can fix the wall and assume that sly bastard's position behind the boxes once you've sliced open his pixelated throat with a knife.
In Blockstorm, that's pretty much how every death match unfolds. Although it seems repetitious, it's a tonne of fun. Levolution is old news; in Blockstorm, anything may be destroyed and will be destroyed, leaving nothing behind but ruins. Currently, Blockstorm only provides the traditional Deathmatch gameplay style and two more options. One is Team Deathmatch, which I sincerely hope doesn't require further explanation, and the other is Assault. In Assault, your team must capture a specific location on the map; however, simply surviving as long as possible in the designated region will do. But because the Level design is so unpredictable, this typically ends up being a fun challenge rather than turning into a camping competition.
Later on, according to the developers, even more, hurdles will be added. FPS Game Blockstorm takes place in a universe built of breakable blocks. You may completely personalise your Game and rapidly share your experience with other players thanks to the in-game editor, the voxel nature of the characters and maps, and these features. You are free to modify pre-existing characters and maps or to design your own from the start. Weapons can also be edited.
Blockstorm's characters and maps were created using tools readily available to the general public. The Game's characters and maps were created using tools readily available to the general public. In Blockstorm, everything is both buildable and destructible.
Weapons can be precision rifles, powerful machine guns, or even explosives that can dislodge cover and provide the user with a tactical edge. You can choose your load from a selection of weaponry that the map's designer has pre-configured.
The modes that are now supported are:
- Deathmatch
- Team Deathmatch.
- Assault
Regular updates
On Steam Early Access, Blockstorm is accessible.
As a result, the Game changes as you play. We will update Blockstorm and add content based on your suggestions.
