Third-person surviving action shooter Remnant: From the Ashes is set in a post-apocalypse world invaded by terrible animals. You'll go out alone or with up to two other players as one of the last survivors of humanity to battle swarms of terrible foes and titanic bosses while attempting to get a stronghold, rebuild, and regain what was lost.

• A Remain of Humanity : An old evil from another realm has utterly destabilized the world. Although humanity is fighting for its existence, they have the technology to create portals to other worlds and different universes. They must pass through these portals to solve the riddle of where the evil originated, forage for supplies to survive, and fight back to establish a stronghold for humanity to rebuild.
• Await Endless Fantastic Realms : Explore dynamically generated worlds that provide unique maps, monster encounters, Quest chances, and in-world events each time you play across them. Every time you go through one of the Game's four distinct worlds, you'll face new difficulties brought on by the landscapes and their monstrous inhabitants. Explore and adapt, or perish trying.
• Scavenge. Specialize. Upgrade. : To gain experience, valuable treasure, and upgrade components you may use to create a lethal armoury of weapons, armour, and alterations to approach each fight in various ways, you must defeat tough-as-nails adversaries and epic bosses in harsh locations.
• Power in the Numbers. : Invading other worlds to stop the Root is risky, and survival is not guaranteed. To improve your survival chances, cooperate with at least two other players. Cooperation is essential for the Game's most complex challenges to be overcome and its most enormous rewards to be unlocked.

Gameplay

Remnant: From the Ashes contains a third-person shooter component that allows players to use up to two gun weaponry, one primary weapon and one sidearm, in addition to their melee weapon. It draws its mechanics from titles like the Dark Souls series. Players can add mods to these weapons, which give them additional skills, and they can be any of a variety of weapons, including machine guns, shotguns, hunting rifles, sniper rifles, and the like. Although the player generally follows a predetermined plot, they can construct their unique character and therefore are required to overcome challenging adversaries and monsters in a randomly created landscape. Players can enhance their weapons and armour using materials they collect all across the environment. Additionally, they can gain access to trait points, which can be applied to their playable character's stats.

With the help of two additional players, gamers can advance through the tale in Remnant, where the number of players affects how challenging the Game is to play.
