The gameplay

There are also various locations, each with unique challenges and puzzles. These locations include an abandoned hospital, a spooky mansion, and a dark forest. Players can be one of several survivor characters, each with unique abilities and weaknesses.

Damned is minimalistic, with the focus primarily on the gameplay and atmosphere. The Damned occurs in various haunted locations, with the survivors trying to escape while being hunted down by a monster. There are no cutscenes or dialogue to explain the backstory, leaving it up to the players to piece together the details through environmental storytelling.
