Booker DeWitt, a former member of the United States Cavalry and current hired gun, is indebted to the wrong people, in danger of losing his life, and only has one chance to start over. He has to free Elizabeth, a mysterious young woman who has been held captive in Columbia's flying city since she was a toddler. Booker and Elizabeth are compelled to trust and develop a strong friendship during their daring escape. 

Together, they discover how to use a growing collection of tools and skills as they battle on zeppelins in the Sky, along fast Sky-Lines, and on the ground in Columbia while avoiding the dangers of the air-city and learning its sinister secret.

The fact that you're in 1912 on a flying metropolis of magical racists soon becomes only the fifth or sixth most perplexing aspect of your circumstances. Which two are those? Why are they mentioning me? What's up with the enormous robotic bird? AD stands for what? Why does she believe what she does, how does he know, when did they meet, and why can I shoot crows out of my hands? How exactly do these pants enable me to reload?
