The second BioShock takes place around ten years after the first, and The hallways of Rapture are once more filled with past misdeeds. A monster has been kidnapping young girls along the Atlantic coast and bringing them back to the underwater metropolis of Rapture. Players assume the role of the Big Daddy, the most recognizable resident of Rapture, as they explore the gorgeous but decaying remains of the city while pursuing an unknown adversary in pursuit of information and their survival.

The prequel version, Bioshock, is also live.

Multiplayer

In BioShock 2, multiplayer will offer a deep prequel experience that enriches the BioShock fiction's beginnings. Players take on the role of a Plasmid test subject for Sinclair Solutions, a leading supplier of Plasmids and Tonics in the underwater city of Rapture that was first discovered in the original BioShock. The game is set during the fall of Rapture. As the full breadth of the BioShock experience is improved and converted into a singular multiplayer experience that can only be found in Rapture, players will need to utilize every aspect of the BioShock toolset to live.

Gameplay

The first-person shooter BioShock 2 is. Eight years have passed since the events of the original BioShock game when the player assumes the role of Subject Delta. Like in BioShock, the player explores Rapture and battles Splicers with firearms, environmental hazards, and plasmids. Before future use, plasmids that bestow superhuman skills like telekinesis must be replenished with "EVE." A strong drill and a rivet gun, among other weaponry, were carried by Big Daddies in the first BioShock game.
