The famous conflict between two of science fiction's most well-known characters is brought to FPS enthusiasts by AvP, which offers three excellent single-player missions and countless hours of unusual 3-way multiplayer action.

Play in the first person and experience a completely new and exhilarating first-person gameplay as you hunt, survive, and prey in the dangerous swamps and forests surrounding the doomed colony of Freya's Prospect.

• Light is your buddy, but there is never enough of it when you're the Marine, leading to a cramped and terrifying experience. However, the United States Marine Corps is the last line of defence for humanity, and as such, they are fully equipped with the most cutting-edge high explosive and automatic weapons.
• As the Predator, you will ambush your prey by stalking from above and in the shadows while gliding deftly through the treetops. Honour ultimately requires you to approach close and accept your prizes in person, despite your arsenal of powerful, sophisticated weaponry and tracking gear.
• The Alien allows you to play as the most lethal species in the world, the monster in the dark surging forward with countless others, jaws like a steel trap, and claws like knives.
• Play both sides against one another in various exclusive 3-way online scenarios, and engage in tooth-and-claw combat with a pulse rifle to reinvent one of multiplayer gaming's defining moments.
• AvP stores game stats and skill data on the Steam Cloud, which is subsequently used for matchmaking.

Aliens vs Predator Swarm Map Pack 

Six new online multiplayer modes for two new multiplayer maps:

• Docks: At the deserted dockyard of Weyland-Yutani, horror emerges from the depths.
• Outpost: BG-386's ferocious jungle vegetation has reclaimed this area, making it the ideal hunting ground for many species.

Two new Survivor maps pit up to four Marines against growing hordes of aliens as they struggle to survive:

• Hive: The Xenomorph Hive is located deep within Freya's Prospect. Be careful wherever you go.
• Machine: Do you plan to tackle the Refinery? Even if the lights are on, nobody is at home quite yet.

Aliens vs Predator Bughunt Map Pack

Welcome to BG-386's killing fields. Test your mettle on four new multiplayer levels: industrial complexes, alien crash sites, jungle wetlands, and ancient temples. Your environment will be your greatest foe; it constantly dumps rain on you, conceals your predators, and only a lightning strike can reveal a path.

Two maps are included in the Bughunt Map Pack for Survivor Mode, and two more are included for all other Multiplayer Modes.

Map Overview:

• Crash site - MP map Crash site is an outdoor map that places players in a jungle swamp dominated by a wrecked drop ship. It was created for all game types aside from Survivor. The core swamp is surrounded by a sizable "ring" of playable space, with connected spokes to facilitate player movement within the map. Radiating out from the swamp is a waterfall with a panoramic view.

• Furious - MP map Furious is an arena-style map created for all game types other than Survivor. It places players in the centre of a central cylinder-shaped region dominated by a giant active furnace in the middle.

• Tempest - Survivor map Built exclusively for Survivor, the outdoor map Tempest takes players in the BG-386 Colony region on a stormy night. Built solely to Survivor, the outdoor map Tempest takes players in the BG-386 Colony region on a stormy night.

• Players must cope not only with the never-ending Alien swarm but also with their surroundings. With sporadic lightning strikes illuminating the surroundings to show the Marines' assailants closing up on him, a relentless downpour hammers the colony.

• As the previous ones are finished, the fog begins to drift in for the start of the next wave, and ghostly figures start to stalk the player.

• Monument - Survivor map Monument is an outdoor map designed just for Survivors located on BG-386 in a previously unexplored Monument region honouring the deceased Predator Lord.

• Players already familiar with Survivor will find Monument a challenge because it has geometry specifically designed to support the Alien movement. Aliens can appear from any angle, and if the player remains still for an extended period, the Level's jungle alien "spitters" can attack them.
