Horror Games
Horror Games are designed to invoke fear, thrill, and suspense among players. They are one of the most played genres in the gaming community. Horror Games typically consist of terrifying enemies and atmosphere, scary stories, and gameplay elements that revolve around survival, some combat, and stealth. Unlike other genres of games, Horror Games are more focused on escaping the enemies rather than defeating them. Some of the well-known titles are Dead by Daylight, Aline Isolation, Outlast, and more. These titles have defined what Horror Games should be like and have garnered fame amongst the gaming community.
Horror games are designed to invoke fear, thrill and suspense, and there is no better time to play them than Halloween. They come with terrifying enemies, a creepy atmosphere and gameplay built around survival, stealth and escaping rather than fighting. Dead by Daylight, Alien Isolation and Outlast defined the genre, while 2026 hits like Resident Evil Requiem keep raising the bar. Whatever scares you, Driffle has instant digital keys for it at prices that won't haunt your wallet.
Why You Should Buy Horror Games This Halloween?
There are a lot of reasons to try horror games, and the spooky season is the best one. Solving mysteries or completing an objective while danger is all around you makes for a gripping experience, and detailed environments with atmospheric sound design keep you on edge the whole time. Some titles even support VR, which adds a whole new layer of fear.
Halloween is also the best time to save. Steam Scream V Fest runs from October 26 to November 2, 2026, and that is when popular horror games get some of their biggest discounts of the year. Pair those deals with Driffle's prices and you can build a full horror library for a lot less than full price.
