In Bedtime Digital Media's 2014 puzzle-platform adventure Game Chronology, the player manipulates the past and the future to mend the present, defying the passage of time. The player can use the unusual powers of the Old Inventor and his companion, The Snail, to solve puzzles, go back and forth in time, stop time, and alter items.

A platformer/puzzle Game hybrid in which you can manipulate time to go back in time and forward in order to change the present. Play as the Old Inventor in this 2D independent adventure Game while being constantly accompanied by his snail.

It would be a tragedy if Chronology never existed because it was so close to not existing at all. After the Game's Greenlighting on Steam last year, Progressive Media, the original production studio, filed for bankruptcy. Fortunately, former team members created Osao Games to finish the project since they wanted to see the Game released.

Gameplay

The gameplay revolves around a two-character mechanic that features an elderly inventor and his dependable snail sidekick. Beyond that, neither character is given a name, but neither really needs one. The Game's starting cataclysm allows the creator to move back and forth between two periods known as "Before" and "After." In addition to having the power to freeze time, the snail's robust shell also acts as a moveable platform for the creator to stand on. In some cases, that only provides a means of easing up a challenging platforming portion, but in others, it's essential to resolving problems.
