Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection will give your imagination free rein! Build, manage, and maintain your ideal zoo by yourself or with up to four players using almost 200 visually stunning animals and the largest, most detailed selection of environments ever. All ages of animal lovers will enjoy this simulation of a zoo.

The business simulation game called Zoo Tycoon was created by Blue Fang Games and made available by Microsoft. It was adapted to the Nintendo DS in 2005 despite being initially made available in 2001 for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh computers. It was followed by the 2002 releases of the expansion packs Dinosaur Digs and Marine Mania as well as the 2004 release of Zoo Tycoon 2, a sequel.

Gameplay

The objective of Zoo Tycoon is to build animal displays, maintain happy visitors, and establish a thriving zoo. Building exhibits is one of Zoo Tycoon's main objectives. Exhibits should be appropriate for the animal in order to keep both visitors and animals happy; for instance, a lion is best suited to a savannah setting. The suitability of an exhibit and the enjoyment of the animals both depend on the topography, vegetation, rocks, shelters, fences, toys, and the presence of zookeepers.

Animal happiness, building quality, and scenery all have an impact on visitor satisfaction. Bathrooms, restaurants, food carts, stores, reptile homes, aviaries, and entertainment structures like movie theatres are examples of buildings. Scenery includes visual elements that somewhat improve visitor enjoyment, such topiary art, light posts, and seats. The player can earn financial rewards and keep a consistent income by maintaining both animal and visitor pleasure at high levels. Players can hire zookeepers, tour guides, and maintenance workers to help manage the growing zoo. If the animals get out of their enclosures, they might attack and even kill visitors and staff.
