Life on Mars is discovered in 2097. When your first contact mission is stranded due to a cave-in, you must master the alien ecosystem to survive. Soon, you will find more than anyone expected, and as time passes, you will decide the fate of a long-lost planet.

The player plays Liang, a scientist/astronaut on a Mars-based research team. You've been tasked with investigating Martian life forms discovered in a cave a year ago. Unfortunately, the mobile probe that made the initial discovery, 0CT0, is now missing, presumably deeper underground. It's not long before you find your path blocked by biological barriers that appear to have grown in place.

Waking Mars is a platform adventure game in which players jetpack through the underground Mars caves and encounter a host of alien lifeforms that operate the ecosystem. 

The players must create an ecosystem of their design, understanding the behaviours of these creatures, to discover the secrets of Mars' past.

The game has been nominated for the best mobile games in excellence in audio in the Independent Game Festival.
