Overview

The Colonists is a calming town-building game that draws inspiration from timeless games like The Settlers and the Anno series.

Take on a series of separate campaign objectives, explore areas created at random, compete on user-designed creations, or construct your colony without any restrictions in the sandbox mode.

You are in charge of a group of self-replicating robots designed to represent human society. After leaving Earth, The Colonists are now free to explore the galaxy in search of a new planet where they can settle and build their ideal community.

Codebyfire and Mode7 have designed and released the town-building game The Colonists. In this simulation game, the players take control of self-replicating robots that establish a new planet as their home in place of the exiled earth. The robots explore a new planet, study cutting-edge technologies, and find new lands. Build a new home while having fun or battle AI colonies for dominance.

Gameplay

• As you create the road, boat, and rail transportation infrastructure for your colony, you'll advance through three different Ages.
• Harvest natural resources, establish farming and food production, organise exploration missions, and investigate cutting-edge technology.
• The Colonists offers two distinct objective paths that allow you to either build expansive settlements in peace or engage in competitive military winner-takes-all battles with AI colonists.
• You are free to investigate, manage, adjust, and refine as much as you choose.
• Three ages are available for players to advance their robot settlement.
