Mortal Kombat X blends brand-new gameplay with an unmatched dramatic display. Players may now select between many character iterations, which influence strategy and combat style. Your fighter roster in Mortal Kombat X-Kombat Pack now includes four more exclusive playable characters. It's vital to note that you already have these characters if you bought the Mortal Kombat XL Pack. The players must purchase Mortal Kombat X to play. The 2015 fighting video game Mortal Kombat X was created by NetherRealm Studios and released by Warner Bros.

It is the follow-up to Mortal Kombat from 2011, and it takes place 25 years after the first Game's events. The gameplay of Mortal Kombat X is similar to that of the first two Mortal Kombat games. Two players, or one player and the CPU, battle it out using their chosen character and various character-specific techniques. Several "Tower" modes with dynamically changing obstacles, different online modes, and the "Krypt," a first-person method where gamers explore the areas while unleashing a variety of in-game items, are among the Game's modes. The story mode, which takes place 25 years after the last Mortal Kombat game, is another.

Upon its debut, Mortal Kombat X's system versions were well-received by critics. The Game's controls, general gameplay, visuals, plot, and personalities received the most accolades from reviewers, with some claiming it to be the greatest in the Mortal Kombat series. The PC version of the Game had a mixed response from reviewers, who cited several technical faults (such as frequent crashes and poor net code) as flaws that seriously hampered the enjoyment. The Game, which sold over 10 million copies, was the franchise's quickest and ninth-best-selling retail title in the United States in 2015. The most popular Mortal Kombat Game to date is Mortal Kombat X.

You may access five separate DLC packs that will be released at various points in the future if you purchase the Kombat Pack. It gives users access to the Sumarai Pack right away.
