Mobigame created the puzzle platformer Edge for the PC and iOS devices. The goal is to direct a rolling cube through a series of maze-like stages to reach it.
Gameplay
Edge is a platform puzzle video game that features an isometric perspective. A cube is "rolled" by the player by pointing its face in a specific direction. Steps that are the same height as the cube can climb the cube. The player can hang across some edges to cross wide gaps by balancing the cube along the edge of a wall or space. The goal is to move the cube through a series of maze-like stages to get there. Platforms, moving blocks, switches, and collecting prisms are all part of the levels. After finishing a level, the player is given a performance ranking based on the level's completion time, collected prisms, and how frequently the cube has fallen off the map.
A unique rank is attained by collecting all the prisms in a level and finishing them promptly. The player can finish the story more quickly by letting the cube dangle on the maze's ledges and edges for a long time. The two control methods available for smartphone versions are swiping (the default) and pressing on-screen buttons. Three additional unlockable levels are included with the 45 primary levels. In addition, you can access Turbo mode by completing all 48 levels, which quickens the speed of the game's levels.
Edge Extended includes new features and 48 extra levels. For example, the player can race against their previous playtime in the shape of a ghost cube in Ghost mode after all levels have been completed, replacing Turbo mode. Another new feature in Edge Extended is the AI-controlled Dark Cube, which can obstruct the player's path and activate switches while moving autonomously.
