Sanctum 2 is a first-person shooter tower defence video game created independently by Coffee Stain Studios for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows, OS X, and Linux platforms.

The world's first Tower Defense/FPS hybrid game, Sanctum, was followed up with Sanctum 2. The player has to choose one of four distinct character classes and set out on a mission to defend the oxygen-generating Cores from swarms of lethal aliens invading Earth in response to their presence. The players can outfit their characters precisely how they want through the innovative and robust customisation system. The players can choose their loadout of towers, weapons, and benefits but have to make good choices because they are the final line of defence for humanity against the relentless hordes out to obliterate it.

Users can excel in Sanctum 2 by combining components from other game genres. Before the opponents attack, create walls and towers during the building phase.
