I Am Setsuna is a 2016 performance computer Game (RPG) created by Tokyo RPG Factory and released by parent company Square Enix for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Microsoft Windows. You assume the role of Setsuna, a woman selected by her town to be a sacrifice to the entity that terrorizes the island every year. As a console debut Game, an edition for the Nintendo Switch was launched in 2017. A teenage woman named Setsuna travels to the Last Lands to serve as a sacrifice to appease the creatures. The plot, set in a world surrounded by snowfall and inhabited by beasts, follows mute hero Endir as he takes on the role of Setsuna's protector.

I Am Setsuna, the first product of Tokyo RPG Factory, started publication in 2014 and had a tight completion timeline. In maintaining the studio's intention, the team looked to Chrono Trigger for mechanical inspiration (1995). The tale was developed to investigate the concept of grief using the graphic motif of ice. Randy Kerber played the Tomoki Miyoshi-penned composition nearly solely on the piano. It was well-reviewed by critics and saw good sales upon release, finally enabling the publisher to turn a recovery. Though some criticized the lack of graphical variation and the easy challenge, acclaim was given to the Game's mood, audio, and action.

The town elders believed that by presenting a woman as a concession in I Am Setsuna, the creature would view the Setsuna's magical abilities as a legitimate and worthwhile sacrifice, reestablishing the peace accord. To reach your demise, you must now journey to the farthest places. Your protections are in motion, ensuring that nothing negative occurs to you before the very conclusion of the adventure. The action is enhanced by lovely tunes, excellent visual direction, and an engaging story that you won't soon forget.
