In August 2020, Canadian company Thunder Lotus Games will publish Spiritfarer, an independent managerial simulation and sandbox adventure Game, for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Android, and Stadia. Stella, the primary protagonist, develops into a "Spiritfarer" whose duty is to transport the departed to the afterlife.

Thunder Lotus continued to maintain Spiritfarer beyond its original publication by providing free feature upgrades; on December 13, 2021, the title received its final update and was renamed Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition. In 2022, Netflix will offer the Game on iOS and Android.
