Do you genuinely think that all Tower Defense games involve building? You had the wrong idea. Sanctum is a unique Tower Defense Game. You get to take part in the chaos when it first begins! Sanctum, one of the first First Person Shooter - Tower Defense games ever created, combines the best elements of both genres to create an unforgettable experience.

Plot:

Not everything has gone as expected. What started as a minor annoyance has grown into a severe threat. Despite the questionable military (Four soldiers? Really? The mysterious aliens that Skye first encounters have swarmed over Elysion One despite their (Were there a budget cut?) efforts. Thankfully, the aliens haven't yet realised that the terrifying bipedal creatures scurrying around underfoot are edible.

However, even though the alien invasion is still ongoing, there is still time. What is left of Elysion must be kept by Skye and her friends. One secure while the serious reconstruction is started.

Elysion One has been overrun despite the military's best, underfunded efforts. There's no way things could get worse. Wrong. Elysion One experienced an earthquake for the first time in recorded history, a tragic event that disrupted reclamation efforts. All of the worries, however, are not about that. The tremors are the cause. They occur with startling regularity.

What's more alarming is that they appear to be intensifying. Will this strengthen and cause another earthquake? Some respond "yes," while others suggest it might be something completely different. But Skye and her pals don't care; they don't care about that. The swarm of aliens who have found the underground facilities and that monthly paycheque are what matter. Can you contain them while they destroy the bridges? Will you serve as Horatius at the bridge for Elysion One?

After the initial assault, it was decided to move the underground rescue operations to a location free of the alien infestation. The strange lifeforms that had been attacking Elysion One had only recently been discovered by scientists to travel a constrained distance into the earth. This is all well and good, but there is still a minor issue: someone needs to keep them at bay while the operation is lowered more profoundly into the ground. Who will be in the fortunate battalion!?
