Use all your expertise to command your force of Daughters in war. The battle's outcome will determine their fate and mould their personalities and skills. Making the most challenging choice and sacrificing one to heal another will produce the survivors stronger and better equipped to face the next war.

Combat is a complex ballet of spectacular actions and counters; to outwit the enemy, prepare in advance and set up great chains of skills. Fight terrifying creatures culled from the worst of Humanity's transgressions against itself in epic boss confrontations against the roots of Suffering.

Gameplay:

In the tactical role-playing video Game Othercide, the player takes control of a squad of Daughters, female warriors who battle the nightmare Suffering in the Dark Corner. The Game's dynamic timeline structure allows players to employ various skills to delay an opponent's turn or hasten the turn of another Daughter while the enemy and Daughters take turns doing activities. Each action costs one action point. If the players use all of their action points, the Daughter will become worn out and have to wait longer to act again. Three classes are available in the Game: the Shieldbearer, who has a lot of health, and the Soulslinger, who primarily serves as a ranged support character. And the Blademaster, who uses a melee weapon. Each character has unique abilities that can be combined to create a domino effect. These classes' abilities can also be highly customised. The way a player plays will also influence the way they are and how they behave.

The Game includes roguelike components as well. Small areas are used for battles, and if the player's squad loses, their progress is not lost; instead, new equipment dubbed "Remembrances" become available. These goods increase battle effectiveness and lengthen player survival. The only way to restore a lost daughter's health is to trade her for another Daughter.
