Gameplay

The basic gameplay combines aspects of a driving Game and a third-person shooting with a sizable, open area to explore. The player's character can walk, swim, jump, use weapons, and engage in simple hand-to-hand combat while on foot. A wide range of vehicles, including cars, boats, aeroplanes, helicopters, and motorcycles, are available for control by players. 

Players can also use their vehicles for acrobatics, such as standing on the roof of one car and jumping to another, or they can choose to use their parachutes while the vehicle is still moving on the top. Skydiving, base jumping, and parasailing (clinging to a moving vehicle while one's parachute is deployed) are other essential aspects of the Game.
