The near-future setting will introduce various new gaming elements, architectural innovations, and new difficulties while maintaining the basics that made the Anno 2070 franchise successful. Plot

The scenario takes place in 2070. The Arctic ice cap has melted due to global warming, which has caused the water level to rise and inundate the coastlines. As a result, numerous ancient cities have submerged beneath the sea, and many once-highland areas have been transformed into chains of brand-new islands. A limited number of people who command movable ocean-going bases known as Arks are tasked with exploring and developing these new frontiers.

The Eden Initiative (also known as the "Ecos"), Global Trust (also known as the "Tycoons"), and S.A.A.T. are the three factions in the game (referred to as the "Techs"). Ecos are pro-environment and promote sustainable urban development, yet they are ineffective and slow to grow.

Gameplay

In Anno 2070, energy production decisions made by people instead of governments, borders, faiths, races, etc., dictate politics. The game's three main factions unite under a single global government, which makes all decisions for the whole human race. Additionally, players can participate in Senate Council and World President elections. Until the following election cycle, participation will have varying consequences on each player, depending on the president or the legislation passed.

Features

Anno 2070's gameplay includes "World Events," unique missions that are available for a brief period and enable all players to work together to complete them. In addition, gamers will receive rewards for completing objectives depending on how many people participate.

• The first game is called Neo Skullz Pirates, which pits players against pirates threatening humanity with nuclear weapons.
