The cataclysmic events that pushed the entire world to oblivion occurred five years ago. The protagonist is a prisoner in Gandohar's castle's dungeons. With his freedom, his chances of rescuing his sister evaporated. When hopelessness looms over him, it materialises from the most unexpected sources. The hero has been released from his shackles thanks to a rescue team assembled by the Orcs, a race he had long detested. He emerges into a place where evil has desecrated. He sets out on a Quest to illuminate Gandohar's shadowy past in the hopes of identifying a weakness in his adversary's resistance. He will permanently lose his sister if he fails.
