Gaming Minds Studio was created, and Kalypso Media released the railroad management and building simulator Game Railway Empire. It was made available on January 26, 2018, for Microsoft Windows and Linux, January 30, 2018, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, January 31, 2018, and February 14, 2020, for Nintendo Switch. Ubisoft began distributing the Game's tangible copies in Japan in May 2018.

Action Game

The basic Game of Railway Empire is set in the United States between 1830 and 1930. The player may construct a vast network of railway lines, purchase a variety of locomotives to service cities and businesses, and expand cities through hiring railway staff for both office and train operational roles, each with unique benefits and personality types. Additionally, the player can access innovations like additional trains or revenue boosts. Versus mode, story mode, accessible mode, sandbox style, and challenges mode are the Game's five primary Game modes.

With objective four, which is focused on the American Civil War, the versus mode primarily guides the player through the construction of the First Transcontinental Railroad. In this mode, the player competes against AI-controlled opponents while completing chores. These rivals are available and accessible characters with particular gaming perks in the Scenario mode. In scenario mode, the tasks are likewise far more complex. The job list in a Free manner is generated at random when the Game first starts, and the assignments are optional.
