The Clan

A group of the most rebellious Vikings, led by the House of the Snake, arrive on the territory of Northgard. The crafty members of the Clan, led by Signy, the Sword Maiden, have little concern for honour or renown and prefer to control their foes through guerrilla tactics instead of open combat.

The leader of the Clan

The war chief of the Clan is accessible at the start of the Game. While her combat talents are initially only marginally superior to those of a Warrior, she will develop throughout the seasons, growing stronger and gaining access to additional skills.

Spotlights

The Clan's distinct view of warfare is reflected in particular Knowledge, such as "Stolen Lore," which enables players to take Knowledge from another clan, or "Guerilla Tactics," which grants increased attack power to the Snake's warriors when they murder civilians.

• Discover a novel way to play Northgard: The Snake Clan lacks honour and cannot achieve fame! However, do not undervalue its power.
• Backstab your opponents, steal their information, and devise fresh, creative strategies
• Without worrying, Signy and her Skirmishers may hide amid wolves and bears in the woods as they traverse Northgard.
• Without aiding your adversaries, use your black markets to boost your economy!
• By employing Scorched Earth, Signy's unique ability, and increasing the assault strength of your unit, you may cripple the opposing player's economy.

Northgard sets you in the shoes of fearless Vikings who found a brand-new continent. It is rich in wealth but also packed with mystery and peril. You will need to colonise the recently discovered area, build your town well to withstand the seasons and engage in conflict with rivals to emerge as the biggest. Handle the challenging circumstances on the island, gather grain and wood for the winter, and continually cross your fingers that a snowstorm won't hit. Since other clans are gradually encroaching on your land, protect it carefully. Remember that several wolves and bears are present in the nearby woods. If you let your standards slip, wild creatures will attack you. Fortunately, Northgard provides you with a war chief, defence towers, and three distinct kinds of military forces to assist you in continuing to hold your fort.
