Mortal Kombat X is a fighting video Game developed by NetherRealm Studios and was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in April 2015, with subsequent releases on other platforms such as PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and mobile devices. The title is the tenth instalment in the Mortal Kombat series and is a direct sequel to Mortal Kombat (2011). 

Gameplay:

Mortal Kombat X features a traditional 2D fighting Game style with over 30 playable characters, each with unique movesets, special abilities, and fatalities. Introduces new gameplay mechanics, including the ability to interact with the environment. It uses it to gain an advantage over your opponent, such as throwing objects or bouncing off walls to perform combos. This new energy meter system allows players to perform exceptional moves and combos by spending energy.

This system adds a new layer of depth to the Game and encourages players to experiment with different characters and strategies.

Story:

Mortal Kombat X takes place 25 years after the previous Game's events and features a new storyline around a group of new and returning characters. The story mode is a cinematic experience, with fully voiced cutscenes and scripted battles. The story follows the conflict between the Earthrealm warriors, led by Raiden, and the Outworld warriors, led by the villainous Shinnok, who seeks to conquer all the realms and enslave their inhabitants.

Goro plays a significant role in the plot, serving as one of Shinnok's top lieutenants and participating in several key battles against the Earthrealm warriors. Goro is portrayed as a fierce and formidable opponent, and his presence in the story adds a layer of tension and danger to the conflict.
