Men of War: Vietnam is a game for the critically acclaimed series with a story-driven format and a varied experience of the jungle, hueys, and rock-n-roll in 1968. The US campaign contains a team of elite special ops soldiers, each having a distinct personality.
There are other versions available in the series, including the most played base game - Men of War (Global).
Gameplay
The gameplay of Men of War Vietnam is focused on real-time tactical combat. Players control a group of American soldiers as they fight through various missions in the jungle. The tasks range from rescuing POWs, destroying enemy bases, and defending strategic positions.
Each mission takes place on a map that is divided into zones. Players must use cover, line of sight, and terrain to their advantage to outmanoeuvre and defeat the enemy. The game features a variety of weapons, including pistols, rifles, and machine guns, as well as explosives like grenades and mines.
In addition to tactical combat, players must manage their resources and equipment. The soldiers have limited supplies and must scavenge for weapons, ammunition, and medical supplies. They can also upgrade their weapons and gear using points earned from completing missions. The game features a realistic damage system, meaning that enemy fire can injure or kill soldiers.
