Action-adventure game Dishonored was created by Arkane Studios and released by Bethesda Softworks in 2012. Dishonored tells the tale of Corvo Attano, the Empress of the Isles' bodyguard, and is set in the fictional industrial city of Dunwall, which is infested with plague. He is made to become an assassin to exact revenge on those who plot to kill him after being falsely accused of her death. The Outsider, a powerful creature that endows Corvo with magical talents, and the Loyalists, a resistance force, are working to regain Dunwall; both support Corvo in his mission. Voice acting for the game was provided by several well-known performers, including Susan Sarandon, Brad Dourif, Carrie Fisher, Michael Madsen, John Slattery, Lena Headey, and Chlo Grace Moretz.
