Produkt beskrivelse
The ninth addition to the best-selling strategic RPG Crusader Kings II, Crusader Kings II: Horse Lords, offers enhanced gameplay centred on the Eurasian steppes' vivid and active nomadic civilizations.
With new systems and gameplay elements, including a new government structure and the potential for tributary nations, this update will also give you a chance to mount up and expand your empire while riding a horse.
Gameplay
Expanding and dominating trade along the historic Silk Road to finance your conquests is possible, but take caution because other players will also aim to take over these lucrative trade routes. If your trade posts are not well-guarded, enemy raiders may try to destroy them.
Can you conquer Eurasia and establish a Pax Mongolica, uniting East and West under your authority and ushering in a new era of prosperity? Or will you become the deadly sword that shatters all others have created, obliterating everything in its path?
It's time to assume control of history and emerge as the Great Khan!
Key Features
- Tarim Basin and a sizable portion of Mongolia have been added to the map, adding new Central Asian cultures.
- There is a nomadic government for steppe cultures. These operate very differently from sedentary societies in that populations are managed rather than holdings, and armies are built depending on population size. Additionally, the ruler's authority must be balanced with the desires of the many Clans that make up the kingdom (Clans are not normal vassals but rather distinct families and factions within the nomad group).
- The Steppes and Central Asia are enhanced with over a hundred additional events that bring more colour and flair.
- Non-nomadic kings will have unique alternatives for fending off nomads, such as building forts amid the hostile wilderness.
- The dynamic trade mechanisms and conflicts of the Silk Road.
- New nomadic mercenaries. Send your rebellious sons or brothers go as fortune's soldiers.
- Dispossessed raiding adventurers may show up and temporarily trouble a territory or attempt to conquer and settle.
- Tributary States are a new diplomatic strategy.
Gather your horde and call forth your troops. Persia, Europe, and India are all waiting for their new ruler, so saddle up and ride along to conquer! The best-selling strategy RPG Crusader Kings II's ninth expansion, Crusader Kings II: Horse Lords, offers players new gameplay built on the vivid and active nomadic cultures of the Eurasian steppes. You can start establishing your empire in Horse Lords from atop a horse with anything from a small nomadic tribe to a massive horde.
This expansion adds a variety of new systems and gameplay elements, such as an entirely new type of government and the potential for tributary states. To finance your conquests, you can increase and control trade along the historic Silk Road, but watch out: other players will also strive to take control of these profitable trade routes, and enemy raids may try to destroy your trade posts if you don't protect them well.
