In 2020, Sunhead Games and Humble Games will release Carto, a puzzle and adventure Game. It became available on Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in October. The Game's PC version garnered mixed reviews compared to the largely positive reviews for the console versions.

Young Carto must use her natural cartography abilities to map and control the environment around her to find her Granny after separating from her during a storm. Players can alter the Game map's "pieces" when she finds new ones to create their levels, which opens up unique story moments, riddles, and paths.

Gameplay

A top-down puzzle adventure Game is called Carto. The player takes on the role of Carto, a young child separated from her grandma, a professional cartographer, during an intense storm. Carto, who washed up on an island after the hurricane, needs to escape her situation so she can find her grandma.

A puzzle adventure with a distinctive concept, where the Game tells the tale of Kato, a young prospect and cartographer who travels a long distance to see her grandma after she splits up due to an unexpected storm. This is a Game. The eyes and ears are captivated by two to three heads of adorable figures, vibrant and cosy colour visuals, and soothing background music. The Game's name, Carto, and the girl who plays the main character's name are both derived from the word "cartography," meaning "geography."

Each Level of the Game requires the player to uncover and put together various pieces of her map, establishing the island's geography and advancing the story. Players can help non-player characters (NPCs) with multiple activities, like finding their houses, by moving the pieces on the map.
