The BBC's Blue Planet II nature documentary series inspired the Game. On April 17, 2020, it was launched on Apple Arcade, and on June 11, 2020, it was released on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. On November 11, 2021, the video Game on the Nintendo Switch was made available. Positive reviews praised the Game's quality as an educational one, while negative ones criticized its briefness, aesthetics, and unrealistic nature.
