Battlestations Pacific (Global) (PC) - Steam - Digital Key

Action and real-time strategy video Game Battlestations: Pacific was developed by Eidos Hungary and published by Eidos Interactive in 2009. Additionally. It is a follow-up to the video Game Battlestations: Midway, released in 2007. Battlestations: Pacific improves upon Battlestations: Midway in several ways, including adding new combat elements, more sophisticated submarine fighting, more easily adjustable planes and ordinance loads, and island invasions with an impact on the current war. HVAR Rockets, experimental fighters like the Kikka and Shinden, and kamikaze units like the Ohka and Kaiten were among the new weaponry, planes, and ships added. Start playing this Game today.

The Key Features of Battlestations Pacific are :

  • Five new multiplayer Game modes are included in Battlestations: Pacific, which can be played online or offline with or against real people, AI-controlled characters, or both: Island capture, Duel, Competitive, Siege, and Escort.
  • The two central figures from Battlestations: Midway can likewise be "killed" at the beginning of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The pilot would remark if the player succeeded in sinking Henry's PT boat, "Henry was his name. Not his narrative, though."
  • The graphics engine for the Game has been updated. Details include a new cockpit view mode, greenery on islands, translucent water at shallow depths, etc.
  • The damage model and physics engine of the Game, notably the water-based mechanics, have been completely redesigned and are now considerably more realistic than the previous title. Smokestacks and crew members may be blown overboard, and ships could split in half. A plane's wings, tail, and engines can all be shot off.
  • The addition of night, day, and other weather effects is probably the most notable change to the Game's environmental effects. The number of playable units exceeds 100.
  • Alongside the historical US, the campaign is a Japanese campaign that depicts the preparations the Japanese had developed if the Pacific War had ended in their favour.
  • The developer has paid attention to the Game's playability, shortening the learning curve and streamlining the tabs for launching units and repairs.

In Battlestations: Pacific, the American forces continue the battle past the Battle of Midway and move on to Okinawa and ultimate triumph. The Japanese campaign is the most jarring addition. It presents a "what if" scenario in which Japan wins the Battle of Midway and continues its war effort to invade Hawaii, trade technology with Germany, and ultimately defeat the United States of America. The campaign's ending cinematic features General Douglas MacArthur signing a peace treaty on the Yamato in San Francisco Bay, intended to evoke Japan's surrender on the deck of the USS Missouri.

Battlestations: Midway's primary website battlestations.net announced a sequel was in the works in 2008, and Battlestations: Pacific was officially announced later that year.
