6. DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT (2022)
DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT might not totally feel like a typical cyberpunk experience, but it kinda still brushes up against Cyberpunk 2077 in a few big ways. There’s this strong pull toward futuristic technology, plus immersive world-building and a story that makes you just stop and think for a second. Both games give you their own kind of future view where tech either hums along quietly or goes loud in how it shapes society. 7. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (2016)
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is arguably one of the closest kinds of experiences to Cyberpunk 2077. It turns around cybernetic augmentations, corporate conspiracies, social inequality, and the whole idea of player choice. Much like V’s cyberware upgrades, the protagonist Adam Jensen can upgrade his body with powerful abilities that help with stealth, hacking, combat, or exploration, you know. Even if it doesn’t chase first-person action, and instead leans on an isometric view, it still manages to deliver that RPG progression feel, plenty of character tuning, high-tech armaments, and then this worn down, gritty mood that should land fast with Cyberpunk 2077 fans.
10. Far Cry 6 (2021)
Far Cry 6 kind of overlaps Cyberpunk 2077’s open world vibe, with that same ‘do what you want’ freedom of approach. You can grind through missions with stealth, all-out gunfights, devices and gadgets, or weird little creative workarounds, basically like assembling different builds in Cyberpunk.
