Getting most normal pets is simple:
- Enter a biome that you can reach.
- Find the egg connected to the pet.
- Steal the egg from its nest.
- Carry it back to your base.
- Place it in your pen.
- Wait for it to hatch.
- Keep the pet in your base to generate income.
Rift and special event pets use different systems, so they cannot always be obtained through normal biome nests.
