Pilot Training Flight Simulator Locations List: All Islands, Airports and Towns (July 2026)

PTFS has evolved into one of Roblox’s most detailed flight simulators, with a globe that presently includes 9 islands connected by roughly 50 airports, airfields, and coast guard posts. This list of Pilot Training Flight Simulator sites covers the whole map, from the bustling international center where most new pilots start to the little highland airstrips that put your landing skills to the test. Whether you’re choosing your first flight or hunting badges throughout all islands, this guide has all you need to know about PTFS.

How the Map Works in Pilot Training Flight Simulator?

Before diving into individual Pilot Training Flight Simulator locations, it helps to understand the bigger picture. Each island in the game is loosely inspired by a real world region, and each one comes with its own mix of airports, coast guard stations, and towns to explore. Some islands are massive and packed with content, while others are small, quiet stopovers perfect for a relaxing short haul flight.

Airports themselves fall into three broad categories. Major international airports can spawn every aircraft category in the game. Regional and smaller airports are limited in what they can support, usually excluding the largest airliners. Military bases like RAF Scampton and McConnell AFB are restricted entirely to military aircraft, so do not expect to spawn an A380 there. You can refer to our Pilot Training Flight Simulator plane list to check up on all the different types of aircrafts available in the game.

All Pilot Training Flight Simulator Islands

There are 9 islands in PTFS, each with a distinct identity, terrain, and set of locations attached to it.

Greater Rockford

Greater Rockford is one of the largest and most active islands in the game, and it is where most new players find themselves spawning for the first time. A river splits the island into two halves. One side is home to Greater Rockford Airport, the Training Centre, Waterloo, a racetrack modeled after Brazil’s Interlagos Circuit, and the island’s largest city.

The other half holds Boltic Airfield, Airbase Garry, the Rockford Coast Guard Station, and a secondary city. Just off the coast sits HMS Queen Elizabeth, one of the two aircraft carriers on the map. Greater Rockford also holds more badges than any other island in the game, making it a favorite for completionists.

Perth

Perth is home to Perth International, one of the busiest and most beginner friendly airports in PTFS. The main city of Perth features a stadium modeled after Optus Stadium in Australia. The island also holds East Perth, a quieter town with windmills and a small industrial area, and Lukla, a tricky mountainside airstrip that shares its name and reputation with the infamous real world Lukla Airport in Nepal.

Orenji

Orenji is a mountainous archipelago in the northern part of the map and home to Tokyo International, the only airport on the island capable of spawning every aircraft in the game. Tokyo is modeled after Tokyo Haneda’s Terminal 2 and holds the longest runway and the most gates of any airport in PTFS.

The island also features Saba Airport, based on the real Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport, famous for having one of the shortest commercial runways in the world. Expect a genuinely difficult landing if you attempt it here.

Cyprus

Cyprus hosts Larnaca Airport, Paphos Airport, Barra Airport, Henstridge Airfield, and McConnell AFB, a military base. The town of Nicosia sits between Larnaca and McConnell, built up with concrete buildings that give the island a distinctly urban feel compared to some of the quieter islands on this list.

Izolirani

Izolirani, also known in community lore as Sïgaliä, is split between grassland and desert terrain. Its main city sits some distance from Izolirani Airport itself, and it features a stadium modeled after the Stadium de Toulouse in France. The nearby town of Scampton takes its name from the RAF Scampton military base located on the island.

Grindavik

Grindavik is a small island on the edge of the map, made up of two smaller landmasses connected by a road bridge. It is home to Grindavik Airport and the Grindavik Coast Guard Station, along with the towns of Grindavik and Tavaro. Tavaro is one of the more unique towns in the game, featuring a ski centre and its own seabase.

Sauthemptona

Sauthemptona is a quieter island built around Sauthemptona Airport, with two connected towns, West Sauthemptona and East Sauthemptona. East Sauthemptona includes a ski centre and a lighthouse, giving the island a coastal, low key atmosphere compared to the busier hubs elsewhere on the map.

Saint Barthélemy

Saint Barthélemy is one of the smaller islands in PTFS, with its own distinct flag and identity within the game’s lore. Its towns include Gustavia and Vitet, giving the island a Caribbean feel that separates it visually from the rest of the map.

Skopelos

Skopelos rounds out the list as one of the newer and smaller islands in the game, with its own town sharing the island’s name. It remains one of the quieter corners of the map, making it a nice stop for players who want to explore somewhere less crowded.

All Pilot Training Flight Simulator Towns

Towns in PTFS range from tiny villages with a handful of houses to full sized cities with stadiums and industrial docks. Here is a breakdown of the major Pilot Training Flight Simulator towns by island.

Greater Rockford is home to Rockford City 1, the island’s main city featuring an American football stadium, and Rockford City 2, a coastal city with a bridge inspired by Scotland’s Forth Bridge. Garry sits next to Airbase Garry with brick buildings and two hotels, while Mellor is a small city built around its own airport and an unusually large parking lot.

Orenji holds Tokyo, the island’s main city accessible through Tokyo International Airport, and Saba, a smaller town of concrete buildings next to Saba Airport.

Izolirani contains the town of Izolirani itself, built from glass buildings and centered on its French inspired stadium, along with Scampton, a quieter town near the military base of the same name.

Cyprus is home to Nicosia, a concrete built town positioned between Larnaca Airport and McConnell AFB.

Perth contains the main city of Perth alongside East Perth and Lukla, the latter sharing its name with the treacherous airstrip nearby.

Grindavik holds the town of Grindavik itself and Tavaro, known for its ski centre and seabase.

Sauthemptona is split between West Sauthemptona, made up of wooden houses, and East Sauthemptona, which adds a ski centre and lighthouse to the mix.

Saint Barthélemy contains Gustavia and Vitet, two towns that lean into the island’s Caribbean identity.

Skopelos has just one town sharing the island’s name, keeping this corner of the map simple and quiet.

Best PTFS Landing Locations for Beginners

If you are just getting started, not every airport on this Pilot Training Flight Simulator locations list is equally forgiving. A few stand out as genuinely good starting points:

Greater Rockford Airport is the most common spawn point for a reason. Its layout is straightforward, and the sea side approach on runway 25 offers a flat, stable landing with no mountains to worry about.

Perth International is another excellent choice for new pilots, with predictable approaches and a layout that does not punish small mistakes.

Keflavik Airport on Grindavik is a solid mid tier option once you have a few landings under your belt, offering enough space to correct your approach without the tight margins of somewhere like Lukla or Saba.

Once you are comfortable, challenge yourself with Lukla or Saba Airport. Both are notorious among the PTFS community for short runways and difficult terrain, and successfully landing at either one is something of a rite of passage.
