There is no such thing as a true or definitive Persona 5: The Phantom X tier list. This is primarily because these tier lists do not take character synergies into account. They are like raw metric-driven rankings of each character which can help out new players but do not take into account the power-levels of synergized teams. - Rarity – The base rarity of each P5X character was taken into consideration when ranking them in the different tiers. Characters come in 4-star or 5-star variations, and the higher the rarity, the higher their core base stats. Hence, characters having higher rarity were given more preferences.
- Performance and Utility – Like we mentioned before, each character in Persona 5: The Phantom X is unique. We thoroughly investigated their individual performances and took into account official reviews of each character left by seasoned veterans. While we couldn’t playtest with each character, just looking at their abilities and passives helped us gauge their importance.
- Community Rankings – To build an authentic P5X tier list, some serious digging had to be done. Since we are not self-aware of many intense late-game team comps, community-made character rankings and tier lists were our go-to sources.
