One of the most famous action stars from the 90s is all set to join Hitman: World of Assassination has been revealed to be none other than Jean-Claude Van Damme. Yeah, The Muscles from Brussels is going to be an elusive target in Hitman’s next events starting December 12. The legendary action film star is joining the list of Hitman’s elusive targets as The Splitter (IO Interactive for sure didn’t use that name as a pun). Let’s take a look at Jean-Claude Van Damme making his appearance in Hitman World of Assassination and how and when can players take on this unique challenge.
The Splitter (Max Valliant)
Jean-Claude Van Damme is all set to be the next Elusive target in Hitman in the form of Max Valliant and ex-ICA assassin presumed dead has risen back from the dead. Being one of the ICA’s top assassins before 47, Valliant was caught double-dealing and was assassinated (presumably). However, after two decades the cat is back on the block and has taken over the ICA Chongqing facility for reasons unknown. It’s up to 47 and the player to infiltrate the facility as an escort for a board member representing the ICA with one aim and that’s elimination of Valliant for good this time.
Van Damme being in the game is sure to bring much nostalgia back to many older fans who have witnessed the brilliant marital artist in his peak years. Being one of the most prominent action stars of his time during the 90s starring in some of the most action-packed flicks like Universal Soldier, Bloodsport, Cyborg, Kickboxer, Lionheart, and Double Impact.
When to Join the Hunt
The Hitman Elusive target system gives the players just one shot at taking down the unique target, The Splitter. If the players make a mistake and fail to assassinate the target there is no repeat, making the Elusive targets a challenge and must try for fans who are looking for a challenge and test their skills. Players will be able to join the hunt against Van Damme’s elusive target Max Valliant starting December 12 for free for an entire month with the event ending on January 12. 2025.
Previous Elusive targets are also making a return to the game with Sean Beans The Undying Elusive Target (For God’s sake I have killed this guy so many times, he is bloody immortal for some reason) It’s good to have Ned Stark back though.
