Epic Seven boasts an anime-stylized turn-based showdown between original characters from a dystopian universe. The game has gained notorious popularity, thanks to consistent updates and QOL features that keep it secure and safe from competitors. The game has consistently been releasing new characters, and with such a deep roster, you are forgiven for being confused as to which are the best characters. Worry not, as our Epic Seven tier list answers all these questions.
In our Epic Seven tier list, we have ranked all the characters available. These rankings are done based on a variety of factors that we have listed down below. In this E7 tier list, we have ranked the characters in differing tiers, starting with S-tier being the strongest, and ending with D-tier being the weakest. You can check out all the characters in each individual tier to get a better idea.
S-Tier Epic Seven Characters
In this S-tier, we have placed those characters that are considered the strongest when it comes to the current meta. You will find them being used in the higher tiers of RTA (Real-time Arena) as well as Raids and dungeons. Their skillset is very optimal for the current meta, making them the primary pick and ban champions. If you have any of these characters, make sure to build them up the right way for the most effective use case.

B-Tier Epic Seven Characters
Looking for ‘average’ characters in Epic Seven? Well, you’ve found the spot. This tier holds the champions which are neither too strong nor too weak. They are in a sweet ‘balanced’ spot from where they are still used widely in multiple teams. Do not be confused, many of the characters here like Destina and Cidd are highly accessible and used in PvE game modes. It’s just that they need very good gear to be able to work in PvP modes, making them rank lower.

C-Tier Epic Seven Characters
This tier houses the E7 champions that are relatively considered weak. You won’t find much for them in the higher tiers of RTA or Arena. Yet, thanks to the F2P friendliness of the game, they are good in PvE areas. If you have any of them, consider using them only in PvE avenues as their PvP viability is limited and;/or requires a strong gear score. Some of the nat 5 champions such as Benimaru and Charlotte are good fire-elemental DPS but they need very good equipment.

D-Tier Epic Seven Characters
Arguably the worst of the bunch. These E7 champions are touted to be the weakest in terms of both PvE and PvP purposes. Most of them are nat 3 champions that didn’t show any play even when they were released. Now, with more champions being added, their replacements are even easily accessible. Do not waste your time and resources by building these characters as they are prone to being replaced in the future.

Epic Seven Character Classes Explained
A strong Summoners War team always has monsters of different roles. These monsters have specific roles assigned to them, according to which they perform in battles. If you’re confused as to which type of monsters you should use in a team, worry not as we are here to solve all these queries. First up, you will benefit if by understanding what each of these roles bring to the table:
- Thief – The Thief class of characters usually have high damage dealing capabilities, mixed with stealth mechanics. They can safely deal single-targeted or AOE-targeted damage but at the cost of having very low resistance and durability. Such a spread of stats makes them very vulnerable to getting destroyed early on if not protected.
- Warrior – Warriors in Epic Seven are usually champions who have a good mix of both HP and Attack. They can scale well with both types of damage, making them fit in multiple teams. Bruiser teams often have 1 or 2 warrior type champions in them. Sadly, they do have their own weaknesses, such as not being able to sustain long term damage.
- Marksmen – The Marksmen characters in Epic Seven have very high attack speed, making them the top choice to pick/ban in RTA. Apart from their amazing performance in PvP, they are also a great choice for PvE dungeons. Players always pick 1 or 2 marksmen to open first for their team.
- Clerics/Supports – The clerics in Epic Seven are the best characters for the vitality of a team. These characters often have buffing, shielding, or healing abilities. Many of them can change the tide of battles, thanks to their amazing cleanses and crowd-control.
- Mage – In Epic Seven, the Mage characters are those which are blessed with high attack, and decent attack speed. They can dish tons of single-target or AOE-targeted damage. Mages can make use of the soul burn mechanics very well, as their artifacts generally boost their utility.
- Knight – Knights are the classic tank archetype in Epic Seven. They serve the purpose of being the beefy frontline for the team. These characters have very high HP pools and decent defense that allows them to tank for the team. Many knights also have additional mechanics to provide extra utility to the team.
Epic Seven Tier List Factors
Building an accurate Epic Seven tier list was not that easy of a task for us. This is because the game has hundreds of champions, each having unique mechanics and abilities. For an easier time making this tier list, we took the help of several factors. Learn about all the different factors here:
- Rarity of the Champion – The base rarity of the champion played a big role in champion segregation for the different tiers. This is primarily because lower rarity champions have low base stats compared to higher rarity champions. Hence, they scale better and are preferred by end-game users.
- Usability in PvP and PvE – One thing to note is that the PvE game modes of Epic Seven are very easy and can even be completed by beginner-friendly champions. Hence, we gave preference to the champion’s performance in PvP game modes while putting them in the different tiers.
- Community Sentiment – This factor is more impactful than you might think. We did some research on our own by taking a look at the different community-made tier lists.
