Fable Story and Setting

Fable takes place in the legendary world of Albion, where heroes, monsters, magic, and ordinary villagers exist alongside one another. Your journey revolves around becoming a Hero while discovering what has happened to Albion and its Heroes' Guild. One of the central characters is Humphry, a former leader of the Heroes' Guild who has been pulled back into a dangerous situation. The story also introduces Isabel, the Hero of Wraithmarsh, whose search for answers has taken her down a darker path. The world is designed around player choice. Your actions can influence how Albion's inhabitants see you, how they interact with you, and how certain situations unfold. There is no single definition of what makes a Hero good or bad.
