Saber Interactive has revealed its next big update for Warhammer 40000: Space Marine 2. The latest Trygon Update for Space Marine 2 brings a deadly new enemy to the block, a brand new sidearm, a new operation & more. The update is currently available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S & PC users. Let’s take a look at everything in the new Space Marine 2 Trygon Update.
7.0 Trygon Update
The 7.0 Trygon Update for the game includes free content and exclusive content for Season Pass holders of the game. The 7.0 Update adds a good chunk of content to the action shooter game. Including a free pistol, new operation on Avarax, a deadly new Trynaid foe, cosmetic items, and two brand new Space Marine suit cosmetics.
The Patch also includes several bug fixes and quality of life improvements for the game. Improving the overall user experience in matchmaking, private lobby creation, and more.
Exfilteration – New Operation
The unwavering Tech Priest at the Adeptus Mechanicus facility of Avarax has refused orders to withdraw. With the authorization of Captain Acheran, players must assist in retrieving the priest from the area. But beware, Marines—something monstrous now stalks the ruins of Avarax: the newly emerged Trygon Tyranid.
Trygon Tyranid – New Enemy
Specializing in guerrilla tactics and ambushes, the Trygon is not to be taken lightly. The new enemy will test the Space Marines’ resolve and patience while dealing with its attacks. The Trygon can burst from the ground anywhere and unleash power attacks on the player, and its bio-electric shocks.
New Sidearm – Inferno Pistol
Unleash Hellish blasts straight onto your enemies with the new Inferno pistol. Close the distance with devastating knocking power and put the enemies of the Imperium to eternal sleep. Expanding the sidearm arsenal of the Space Marines, joining the Volkalite Pistol. The Inferno pistol is now available for both PvE & PvP modes for the Heavy, Vanguard, Sniper & Assault classes.
New Customisation Options
Two new paint jobs are also available in the Armoring Hall, along with new customization options:
- Volupus Pink (Paint Job)
- Thousand Sons Blue (Paint Job)
- Cloth colouring for Bulwark (17 options)
- Hands coloring
Space Marine 2 Season Pass Content
Along with the free content, Season Pass holders for Space Marine 2 can also avail new cosmetics and armor sets. Take on the Tyranid threat with the mighty Space Wolf Chapter Pack & The Imperial Fist Champion:

- Space Wolves Chapter Weapon Skins (Bolt Carbine, Chainsword, and Thunder Hammer)

Other Fixes & Additions
The Trygon Update for Space Marine 2, apart from adding new content,t also brings with it new quality of life improvements. Alongside the intense new additions, players can expect smoother gameplay, bug fixes, and enhanced matchmaking. Notably, the Trygon Update introduces Prestige Ranks in PvE and Private PvP Lobbies. The arsenal of the Space Marines has also been expanded in PvE game modes, giving players even more tools of war to pick from.
