Developed and published by Electronic Arts, Skate is a skateboarding game series that began in 2007. It received three installments, all developed by EA Blackbox, a branch of EA based in Canada. The last installment was released in 2010, after which the series was discontinued when EA Blackbox shut down in 2013. Skate 4 Playtest
Playtesting has been ongoing since early 2022. Initially, it was only available on PC, but in early 2025, playtesting expanded to consoles. While players can no longer apply for the playtest, as registration closed on June 27, 2025, those who RSVP’d will receive email invitations. If you registered, keep an eye out for an invite. Skate 4 Release Date and Platforms
With playtests underway, Full Circle plans to release the game in Early Access later this year, as confirmed by the developer. Currently, there is no official release date, but fans anticipate it will arrive sometime in 2026. The platforms for Early Access have not been officially confirmed. But the game will likely launch on the following platforms:
