An ESRB rating has hinted that Resident Evil 6 might be coming to Xbox Series X|S as it lists the game for ‘Xbox Series’. This makes us speculate that it might also come to PlayStation 5. Now we are wondering if there will be a complete remake or remastered version of the game dropping on these consoles, or if the base game will just have some enhancements and compatibility upgrades.

Resident Evil Platforms
The sixth installment in the franchise, Resident Evil 6, was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012 and immediately became enjoyable despite mixed reviews. Some Resident Evil leaks are also in talks. Reliable leakers have stated that 2 Resident Evil remakes are currently under development. The possible remakes are titled Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Resident Evil: Zero. There has been no official word yet and we are still anticipating. But it is quite possible that those remakes are being created especially for current consoles like Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
