Good news for fans of first-person shooter games. Void Interactive, the developer and publisher of Ready or Not, has finally released the game on consoles such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It was originally launched for PC on 13 December 2023. As the only AAA title from the developer, it received positive reviews upon release, especially for its gameplay, maps, weapons, and more. Ready or Not Game Overview
Ready or Not is a tactical first-person shooter where players control a SWAT team in high-pressure, intense scenarios. The game emphasizes realism with strategic gameplay, authentic weapon handling, and a focus on real-time tactics and proper rules of engagement. Players must make critical decisions, from squad selection to tactical breaches, to complete missions inspired by real-world events.
Developed by VOID Interactive, Ready or Not offers both single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing players to command AI teammates or team up with real squads online. The players are responsible for executing missions, planning, and issuing tactical orders in various types of missions, including defusing hostage situations, responding to active shooter incidents, and handling other dangerous criminal activities.
Ready or Not Game New Update
Void Interactive has launched a new update for Ready or Not called Los Suenos Stories. This update also introduces several improvements, such as new missions, weapons, and enhancements to AI. Additionally, the game now features multiple new animations and a new difficulty system. The main updates and changes include:
- Crossplay between PC and consoles.
- New difficulty system. AI difficulty now adjusts with Casual, Standard, or Hard settings, which can be chosen before each mission or in commander mode.
- Added suspect squad behavior system to most levels where appropriate.
- Added suspect weapon cache system to most levels where appropriate.
- Improved animation performance.
- Included many new SWAT restraining animations.

- Stolen Valor: Find and rescue a missing officer located at an apartment building in Rollers’ territory.
- Hunger Strike: A gang meetup gone wrong at Chicos, a local Los Suenos fast food franchise.

Besides these, the update includes numerous bug fixes related to AI, UI, customization, audio, animation, and more. Visual improvements to character art and other small adjustments aim to create an even more immersive first-person shooter experience.
Console Release Date
Ready or Not is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S alongside PC as of 15 July 2025. With the new Los Suenos Stories update, the first-person shooter experience is more immersive than ever, available on players’ favorite platforms.
