Phasmophobia will support full Cross-play at Launch 

The Indie ghost-hunting game is finally coming to Consoles, and its launch on consoles will be today, October 29th. Four years after its PC release, the game is now available on consoles, being available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PSVR2. The devs have now confirmed that Phasmophobia will support full cross-play between all consoles. Let’s take a look and dig deeper into the indie horror game. 

Phasmophobia Console Specifications 

On a recent X post, the devs announced new information regarding the game’s performance on consoles with both balanced and performance modes targeting 4k 60 FPS on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, with the latter being able to achieve 120 FPS, being the only console to do so. Furthermore, the Xbox Series S will be able to maintain a stable 60 FPS at 1080p. At the same time, the PS VR 2 port of the game will also be able to maintain a framerate of 60 FPS at a native resolution of 2000 X 2040 pixels per eye. 

Cross-Play on Launch 

Based on the FAQs answered by the developers, Phasmophobia will fully support full cross-play between PC, PlayStation, and Xbox at launch. Players will be able to enjoy the multiplayer with players across consoles. The feature was recently added in a new update with Version .011, adding a Halloween event, a new event board and uograded physics. The latest update also marked the start of the new Crimson Eye Update, which addressed several bugs and improved the quality of life of the game.
