Recently the developers, Kinetic Games unveiled their thrilling plans for Phasmophobia in 2025, promising to take the fear factor to an entirely new level. Journal Changes: The Ghost Hunters journal will be getting a new facelift, with the photos page being replaced with the media tab. The media tab will be the new menu for all the different devices in the game from Photo cameras, Video Cameras, and the brand new Sound Recorded. (This new feature will blow your mind).
Sound Recorder: The sound recorder will be available to the players as a new tool in their ghost-hunting arsenal. Players will be able to record the sounds of the different entities in the game and replay them to find clues.
- Use the visual indicator on the sound recorder and move within range to detect the sounds. The recorder will automatically start recording, and be added to the new menu tab in the player’s journal for playback.
Blesdale Farmhouse Rework: The Blesdale farm will be getting a rework from the developers of Phasmophobia. With several changes coming to the dining room, living room, trophy room & tea room. These changes will be present in the next update for the game later in 2025.
