Behold console players. The wait is finally over, and after many delays, Consoles are getting the Phasmophobia port releasing right in time for Halloween. Kinetic Games, the developers of Phamophobia, are finally ready with a console port for the game. The Phasmophobia Console Launch is all set for October 29th, with the game making its console debut in Early Access on PlayStation 5, PS VR 2, and Xbox Series X|S. Early-Access Launch and Features
Phasmophobia will launch in Early Access until further updates add new features and mechanics to the PC version. Kinetic Games will launch Update 1.0 for the game; however, it is still unclear when the full release patch will come to the game.
The Base experience for the both the PC and Console versions of the game will be the same. Phasmopboia will launch with a stable frame rate and resolution for the consoles and will run smoothly with a few minor tweaks. The game will have a few missing features on the initial release like the voice recognition feature in the game.
Phasmophobia Features
Co-op Play: Phasmophobia features a four-player co-op mode. Players can join their friends and go ghost hunting together in haunted houses, schools, prisons, and more.
Ghost Types: The game features 24 different ghosts. Each ghost has unique characteristics, abilities, and special gimmicks. Players must investigate and interact with the environment to detect these paranormal beings.
Voice detection and recognition: If players decide to use a microphone while playing the game, the ghost can detect the player’s voice through voice or proximity chat. The ghost can also be provoked by certain phrases and words during gameplay. The PC Version also has the voice recognition feature, but it will not be in Early Access.
Immersive experience: Phasmohobia while not being a AAA title, provides and immersive experience with players working together and utilising the different tools to investigate and banish these beings back to hell. With the dynamic ghost AI and haunting atmosphere the game really creeps up on the player, with solo play being the most horrifying experience.
Phasmophobia Console Launch
Phasmopobia will be launching in Early Access on October 29th, right in time for Halloween. Kinetic games have promised to support the game as long as possible. With the first community event, The Bloodmoon, on October 28th and 29th for PC and Consoles. Console players will be able to enjoy the seamless experience in the exact same way as the PC players, with Kinetic promising the same grounded experience.
