Santa Monica Studios recently revealed a new update for God of War Ragnarok, and the fans are freaking out like Kratos just summoned a full-on party in Asgard. The Studio released God of War Ragnarok back in 2022, and it immediately became a sensation, flying off shelves and racking up over 15 million copies sold. The game extended to PC back in 2024 and now, it has a new update focussing mainly on the cosmetic side of the experience. Let’s see what is coming to the game this January 2025.

God of War Ragnarok 2025 Update
Ragnarok players would know how difficult it was to use Transmog initially. As the new update rolls out, the Transmog features will now be available from the beginning itself. This means that the players will not have to fully upgrade their armor or weapon to Power Level 9. Along with this, the Armour of the Bear set will be made easily accessible for the players. As we say this, the Armour of the Bear set is no longer exclusive to New Game Plus. It will now be available in the first Lost Items Chest in the game for PS4 and PS5 players.

That’s not all! For PC, the Black Bear Armour Set will be offered as a sign-on bonus for the game. This will be accessible through the Lost Items Chest in the hub that connects the nine realms, namely- the Realm between Realms. For players to get their hands on it, they will first have to sign in to the PlayStation Network on PC. They can then grab the full set, including the Cloak of the Black Bear, Wraps of the Black Bear, and Belt of the Black Bear, along with 250 XP and 500 Hacksilver.

Summary
As Santa Monica reveals these updates, this surely is not a coincidence. There have been multiple rumors around the New God of War Game, with many speculating the new setting as Egypt. Though nothing is official yet, it would be interesting to see what is cooking. Till the time anything gets official, get your hands on the God of War Ragnarok Game here to test these updates for yourself.
